Anaphylaxis Canada BC Conference
Anaphylaxis Canada will be hosting a one day conference at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver on Sunday, April 6, 2008.
This conference, Food for thought: living well with food allergies, is open to all individuals with an interest in food allergy, such as parents of allergic children, patients, caregivers, educators, child care workers, public health nurses, and dietitians. The conference will provide delegates with need-to-know information, such as the key recommendations from the national consensus guidelines, Anaphylaxis in Schools & Other Settings, and tools for developing effective anaphylaxis management strategies. Updates on food labeling, anaphylaxis policies in schools and research will also be discussed.

Our distinguished speakers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding anaphylaxis issues and will be available to answer delegates questions after each presentation.

AAIA Food Allergy Summer Camp - Alberta

AAIA's annual Food Allergy Summer Camp is held in the summer at the YWCA YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Centre located 80 km. west of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The camp is open to children aged 8 - 15 years.

The Food Allergy Camp is integrated with the regular camp for that week, and the campers participate in the usual camp activities. Additional services make this a safe and educational camp for children with food allergies.

Whitby, Ontario


Hope you'll join us! Check the AAIA Activities page for the latest info.
This year's event featured a 5KM and 10KM Run and Walk. The event was chip timed. There was a family barbecue and prizes after the event. All funds support allergy, asthma and anaphylaxis research and education.

Please consider participating and/or sponsoring a runner/walker.
Online donations to the event also available.
